The Community Office Team are here to help you!

We are here to help you on all aspects of Richmondshire District Council services including the completion of forms, advice with enquiries about any service including housing benefits, housing, planning applications, council tax and many more.

We will also ring other organisations on your behalf.

We work in partnership with the North Yorkshire County Council library staff.
The library staff can take cash and cheque payments on our behalf at times when our office is not manned, including Saturdays from 10.00am - 1.00pm.

We are able to scan original documents for claims and these are sent directly to the Benefits team.

You can also view agendas for council meetings.

Citizens Advice Bureau
The Citizens Advice Bureau are here on Thursdays for debt advice by appointment only.

Housing and council tax benefits advice is available every Friday between 2.00 and 4.00pm
